Exchangers
Find those
leaking tube to tube-sheet joints and tube leaks before it's in service
for only pennies of what a failure in service would cost!

Rolled
only exchangers don't have to look like this! With helium leak
testing you can be assured they are tight. Don't be lead to believe rolled
only exchangers can't pass a helium leak test, they can. For
years we've tested rolled only exchanger EDC vaporizers in VCM plants
with total success. |
Shell
and tube exchanger seal welds are helium leak tested before and after
rolling
to insure the integrity of the welds. Testing after rolling provides
assurance that no damage was done to the tubes or welds during rolling. |

Whether the
exchanger is configured as a U-bend, shell & tube, floating head,
fin fan, or bayonet; whether it's clad or a special alloy it can be
helium leak tested. Units like this can be tested without
a shell.

Previously those heat
exchanger leaks that presented no production problems - were
no problem. Those same leaks are now EPA
issues when product gets into the cooling water system.
These exchangers, with thousands of tubes, can be tested for
leaks in a relatively short period of time.
